The Fabulous Dialtones
The Fabulous Dialtones
The FDTs will again perform covers songs and originals from their acoustic catalogue at Jammin’ Java.  The combination of their signature vocal harmonies and musicianship bring to life timeless songs from the 60s and 70s as well as newer classics from today’s artists.  Covered artists include CSN, Eagles, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, America, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and many more.  Adding in a mix of their own songs brings a personal touch to a night of great music and memories.

The FDTs have performed at venues all over the DC area for the past 18 years and have performed nationally at The House of Blues in Chicago and  New Orleans, The Hard Rock Live in Orlando, and at festivals, private and corporate events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  When The FDTs play as a 10-man band, including a 4-piece horn section, they always pack the dance floor with great covers of Top 40 classic rock artists such as Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, Beatles, Steely Dan, a number of Motown Classics from the 60s and many more.
Marshall Artz
Marshall Artz
Marshall Artz is an acoustic guitar duo from Virginia currently performing and recording in the Washington D. C. area. The duo features the combined talents of Brad Marshall on lead, rhythm, and slide guitar and Kevin Artz on rhythm and fingerstyle guitar, vocals and harmonica. Brad’s background in rock and blues meets with Kevin’s background in folk, folk-rock and bluegrass to create an original and dynamic acoustic sound. Their performances blend two guitars into a rhythmic and melodic mix that suggests a full band rather than just two guitars. Their repertoire of original songs and cover tunes ranges from mellow ballads to driving rock, suggesting the influences of the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, and Tony Rice.

Kevin and Brad have performed at colleges and universities in Virginia, Washington D. C. and Maryland. They have been guests on live radio programs and featured in live performances for American University’s WAMU as well as the World Folk Music Association showcases at the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. They have performed as opening act for national artists Tracy Chapman and Dave Mason at venues such as the Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis, Maryland and were featured Time Line artists at the Strathmore. Marshall Artz recently received a Washington Area Music Association Wammie nomination for their latest CD release, To Be Continued, in the Contemporary Folk category.
